St. Scholastica’s psychology program features courses taught by faculty in every major sub-discipline of psychology. We place a strong emphasis on breadth and depth in your education. After being exposed to a wide range of psychology topics, you will work closely with faculty as you discover and develop your own areas of interest.
Through this program, you’ll develop excellent critical thinking and writing skills essential for psychology professionals. You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in unique learning experiences. These may include an elective course on the science of happiness that culminates in a trip to Denmark or conducting your own research project and presenting it at a regional conference. Alternatively, you can gain hands-on experience through a field internship in a specific area of interest, applying classroom knowledge in a real-world setting.
As a graduate, you’ll be well-positioned to find jobs immediately upon graduation, or pursue graduate studies in psychology or other healthcare fields.
